Policies

Payment: Payment is required at time of registration. Your spot cannot be held without payment.

Confirmation Notices: Online registrations are confirmed at time of registration. All other registrations will be confirmed a few days prior to the start date of the class. Assume you or your child is enrolled unless you hear otherwise.

Returning Student Discount: We reward loyalty! Returning students enjoy $10 off fees.

Registration Changes: Class changes must be made five (5) or more days prior to the first class meeting.

Registration Cancellations/Refunds: For weekly classes, notification of cancellation must be received 14 days prior to the first day of class to receive a full refund. A 50% refund of class fee is given if you withdraw from a class less than 14 days before class starts and we cannot fill your space. No refunds or credits will be given for missed classes or withdrawals after the class session has begun.

Low Enrollment: In the event that a class is canceled due to low enrollment, students will have the option of transferring to another class or having their registration fee refunded.

Inclement Weather: Generally, if Springfield Public Schools are closed, we will be closed. When possible, we will call you to confirm we are closed.

Illness: Please do not come to class if you are feeling ill, coughing, sneezing, have a fever, sore throat, body aches, chills or have any other symptoms that may indicate that your illness is contagious to other students. In turn, if we are ill, we will contact you to reschedule your class. We want everyone to stay healthy and enjoy class!

Missed classes must be made up within your 8-week session (or 6-week session for children’s classes).

SPECIFICALLY FOR CHILDREN’S CLASSES

Age Policies: Our classes are designed for specific age ranges; see details on our website. Ask us if you have specific questions about the age appropriateness of a class for your child.

Sibling Discount: Enroll two or more of your children in the same class session and receive a $10 discount on each additional child’s fee.

Pro-rated Classes: If space is available, your child may start a weekly class anytime during the session. Class fees will be pro-rated. Single Drop-In classes are also available for most classes.

Drop Off / Pick Up: Parents or caregivers should drop off and pick up their children at the front door of Creava Arts. Please do not drop off your child more than five minutes before class time or pick them up later than five minutes after class ends. In many instances, we are working in the back studio or cleaning up and preparing for classes immediately before or after your child’s class in the front studio, and we simply do not have staff to properly supervise children who are not in class.

Additional Time Fees: In order to accommodate parents who must drop their children early or pick them up late, a fee of $1 per minute is due at drop off or pick up, payable in cash or by check. Please send something for your child to read or do while he/she is waiting.
